ONE YEAR OLD ALREADY!!!
I know it's been FOREVER, but the social lives of a seven year and ten year old on top of twins is enough to keep an army busy and leaves little time for mommy to blog!
ONE ALREADY!!! Well almost anyway...we are a few days early but we had their birthday party yesterday and wanted to share the BIG moment with everyone who couldn't be a part of it!!! The famous "first cake exploration" was quite entertaining! Scarlett took a few bites and then quickly began sharing her cake with the floor, while Tristan picked up the entire thing and quickly realized it wasn't going to fit in just one bite. He then slowly ate it bit by bit paying close attention to the sprinkles on the top. So funny! We can't believe how fast it came and went. Even more, we can't believe how fast this last year has gone. It's amazing to think how much they have grown and changed! They are both growing into their sweet unique selves and we are Loving every minute watching them and being a part of it all! They both wave "hello" and "good-bye," sometimes with both hands at the same time haha they both clap, enjoy showing who's "so BIG" and playing peek-a-boo. Scarlett seems to sit and laugh about anything and everything leaving us to wonder what she is finding so funny! While Tristan is becoming quite the little dancer and enjoys when Daddy turns on his record player. They continue to expand their palates and eat everything their mommy offers...not always the first time, but it never takes them more than twice. Their favorites seem to be anything in the squash family, avocados, blueberries and yogurt. We even tried Yumm bowls for the first time the other day...Scarlett couldn't get enough and Tristan decided he was over it after the fifth or sixth bite. Either way, we are so proud of what good eaters they are!!!
Auntie Bumpkie, Uncle Mikey and our sweet little Olivia (growing big in her mommy's tummy) were able to join us for the celebration! We quickly hired auntie to be our photographer to capture Tristan and Scarlett's big day! Here are some photos for all you to enjoy!!! It's always fun to try and get just one baby to cooperate for pictures, so having two adds extra challenges...but I think the sheer challenge is what makes the best photos!

Pea-UKE!
I think we can put peas in the "No thanks!" column! Winter squash, carrots, pears, prunes and mangoes have all been a success!

We're 7 months old!
We had our monthly photo shoot in the white rocking chair...we can't believe they are seven months old already...
